It's a small working-class community in Northern Ontario. For a century, families here worked at the Abitibi pulp and paper mill before it shut down in 2014.
The people of Iroquois Falls are no strangers to hard times — or speaking out for what is right. So while world leaders tiptoe around the deliberate mass starvation of children in Gaza, the people of Iroquois Falls are standing up.
They recently held their first vigil against the genocide.
