End Poverty Regina is hosting a letter writing campaign to put pressure on the federal government to reinvest in social/public housing. Letter writers will be provided with pens, paper, and templates for letters. Please invite all your friends.

At this time of year gardeners may be tempted to tidy-up – collecting leaves, cutting dead stems, removing fallen branches. With pollinator activity on the decline in our gardens, it may seem like insects no longer need us, but they do. Just because we no longer see them in the colder months, doesn’t mean they no longer exist. Some overwinter in fallen leaves or old stems, others under flaky tree bark, and still others in pliable soil.
