Hi:
I am inviting you to my 70th plus one birthday celebration to be held at Crows Nest Sunday July 1st (not June 30th) after 3 pm.
There will be walks and wind-solar tours and a potluck at 5, and late nighters can stay by the firepit under the northern lights until all hours.
If anyone comes ready to perform there will be an outdoor stage covered with a tarp to protect you - though not from thrown eggs or tomatoes.
We will have a sleep-over for far-away out-of-towners.
July 1st is not my birthday. I turned 70 last June 28th, during a busy activist and family time, so had no celebration for friends. So better late than never, and anyway what's so important about 0's when we age?
I hope you will consider coming as I would love to share the time with great friends, including from the environmental, non-nuclear, arts and heritage activist communities, for just being friends.
Cheers, Jim Harding
p.s. Please invite/car pool with other close friends from afar who will have a great time with us under the sun just after the summer solstice in the Qu'Appelle Valley.
